Run For Your Lives--Them's Fightin' Words

How long I've ached; how deep the sore!
My albino Soul- suffers blisters...
For with myself, I am at War
Run for your lives- Poetic Sisters!

Dodge the bullets; avoid the mines-
Watch the sky for falling bombs!
Oh, worry not, for all is fine-
It's just a little Napalm :)

Hydrogen, he's just a friend-
But atomic at his center
Radiation, Tunguska station-
Do not fear (it's safe to enter...)

The fray; the fight
Fought day and night
Unending battle- forever addled
(And no end in sight!)

Excellent!! Your style is similar to the styling of my father.. Richard Pickett, I believe he is still on here. Your poem flowed and kept my intrigue. The last verse was spectacular.. Good work my friend.Asavvy1

Many thanks, Jared. I will have to look him up. I see a lot of myself in your pieces thus far and also a great deal of talent. Very happy I met you. Thanks for the read and reply :)

Chan This is a strong piece that is well written and makes the reader see the ideas you have coming from your soul. Great job my friend I'm glad my Old Habits poem you could connect too, hopefully in a good way. Hugs

Another imaginative poem from Arhaic. That's excellent. I like your style. Check out a poem I'm writing right now, dedicated to you: Rhyme Master.JM
