Can’t feel myself anymore in this rut
Gotta get out now before I rot, now before I rot
Can’t erase this deep feeling in my gut
Ought to move on, give it the strength I got
Blotched just a notch
By the sunlight, dimming in darkness
Keep in touch, in touch
With me before I fall into the abyss
But, with my hopeful wings of flight,
I’ll be in flight all night long tonight
Run and turn away from the flames of my heart
Run and turn and don’t burn away from the start
I’m burning with the fire of desire
You’re burning with so much ire
And I will never tire of your love inside
And I will never admire the darkest tide
Run and turn away for the sake of our love
Gotta get out now before time runs out
Run and turn away before we break like a weakened dove from above
Got to move on before the dawn of fate hits us suddenly without a doubt
