Run
To run.
To hide.
To never confide to being by my side.
When you left this safe haven of mine.
You weren't locked away.
But you have let yourself go.
I helped you through the sweat and tears.
I kept you from getting lost.
You believed in those tragedies.
And tragically,it was all a secret.
Couldn't tell me to my face.
Tried to make it hard to trace.
But I followed your way back.
Leaving me to die in the end.
Just in the way you were back then.
I thought you were my friend through it all!
I'll leave your side,you said.
Your footsteps fade into my head.
Thinking about what I had lacked in your eyes.
Watching the black in mine cover the sky.
