Run
I run faster than a Ferrari at top speed
I run down a never ending road
Paved with pitch black tar
Painted with burnt yellow lines
The green trees blockade me from escaping
My eyes catch their leaves tumbling to the ground
Flipping, flopping until they finally come to a rest
The sight of this makes my legs carry me faster
I run to forget.
Feelings have changed my perception of life
Caring seems pointless
Feelings withdrew from my body
I run.
My sneakers hitting the pavement rapidly
Thoughts pop into my head notifying me of what I’m feeling
Indignation for how my life is
Anger for what people say
Fear of what’s going to happen
I run.
