Rumble Rumble

The buildings fell
one by one

Rumble rumble

To the death
came all so many

Rumble rumble

But the spirit of the remaining
came to rescue

Saving lives

An earthquake can only do so much harm
Even if it's disastrous

The will of the people will rise

Enjoyed reading this beautiful and well-crafted poem, Robert! Your great imagery sheds more beauty on this writing. I pray that their wounds will heal quickly and that they may one day be able to find peace in their wounded hearts.

Prayers for all in Turkey. May the survivors have the strength to carry on. May their injuries heal with speed, their broken hearts find peace eventually. May the rescuers be given strength to complete the task. May the world leaders see the immediate help needed to send aid. Amen. Thank you for posting this Robert.
