Ruling the World
Oh, to rule the world with human nature’s best
chaos would surely dominate in its finest
as my mind wrestles against every challenging test
which I agonize over with midst bracing-up selfishness-crest.
If I ruled the world along finiteness-zeal
marked by flaws due to limitations’ seal
conflicts would be evident upon hardship deal
constantly needing remediation for pains to heal.
Meanwhile, as privileged to be granted freedom-flight
to rule my own by His enabling might
I yield to Him for direction sight
…soaring toward faith-propelled service-height.
I thank God for ruling over the world as the Sovereign
omnipotent in controlling against evil gain
triumphant bliss upholds His kingdom devoid of hate-stain
forever* to prevail where deeds of genuine love can never be in vain.
*Revelation 11:15 … The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
