Ruins of Remembrance

My yearning heart blazed
In the inferno of your essence
With the blowing winter blizzard
The winged flame flew away
Searing the soul in seething ember
The last glow of longing lingered
In the ashes of burnt dreams
Piling up as the ruins of remembrance.

Sublimal, you've written a beautiful poem here; it packs a lot of feelings into a few lines. Your eloquent use of language put more profound light on this piece of literature, which not only illustrates the enchantment of love but also the use of great metaphors.
