Rugged Patches

Along life’s pathway we encounter rugged patches
Times when nothing seems to go as we planned,
Smelling the roses is often accompanied by scratches
But, overall, wouldn’t you agree life is quite grand?

I recalled the picture of what he did to your living room while you were at the grocery store. (LOL) Sometimes, he's a "rugged patch," but I'll bet he is really loving most of the time!
