Rugged Patches

Along life’s pathway we encounter rugged patches Times when nothing seems to go as we planned, Smelling the roses is often accompanied by scratches But, overall, wouldn’t you agree life is quite grand? Written March 19, 2022

Believe it or not, I was thinking of Buddy when I wrote this. I recalled the picture of what he did to your living room while you were at the grocery store. (LOL) Sometimes, he's a "rugged patch," but I'll bet he is really loving most of the time!

Thank you, Ilene. Overall, despite its ups and downs, some of which you can read about in my poems, I have had a wonderful life and I have made the most of what life "threw at me." So, yes, I'm pretty enthusiastic about life. I hope you can share most of it!
