Ruffled Feathers

birds of the same feather don't always flock together; while most prefer safety in numbers, a few just want to be hermits on towers; there are others which opt to flap farther where the wingspan room is much wider; among them, too, are anti-social loners, and a noisy bunch of social climbers; most of the birds that flock together, especially during fair weather, are not of the same feather!
