Royalty
Royalty
Lavish decors occupy each chamber,
Harmonized knick knacks precisely positioned.
The castle, an acknowledgement of achievement,
A visual display of triumph and success.
The chambers are filled with disillusionment and regret,
Scarce photographs display its inhabitants.
All but barren memories adorn the fixtures,
The kingdom is very deceptive in appearance.
Latrodectus mactans spins webs in the tower,
Conjuring spells and tales to overthrow.
Merlin weaves sharp threads as nemesis,
Servants cannot compare to wealth and rank.
The King and Queen indulge in life's pleasures,
Conquering faraway lands acquiring treasures.
Forever reminded of a fortress that was,
The dungeon holds but dusty boxes.
Happily Ever After....
