Royal Knight

The handsome royal knight from the romance novel,
Appeared on the big, rectangular screen.

Rescuing the beautiful maiden on his white horse,
They fled from the dangerous kingdom.

Arrived at the magnanimous palace in safety,
Shut the giant door to the fortress.

Alone at last empowered to dwell among the giants,
She gazed romantically into his eyes.

They sat at the huge wooden table and chairs,
He gazed back at her with secret longing.

Days and nights came and went,
They conversed to the early hours of the evening.

With many stories to tell and share,
They were slowly getting used to being together.

They decided to build a future kingdom together,
He and she chose to marry and live in the palace.
