Royal Blood

Royal blood

“Do you have royal blood”?
Question screams,
Is your ancestry good enough,
For surely we are all Kings and Queens,
If we go back far enough, or so it seems,
But not I.

“Do you have royal blood”?
My facebook page, side bar rages,
You must have, in past ages,
On Twitter, question flitters,
I really could be bitter,
For no, not I.

“Do you have Royal blood”?
No but I have my health,
A family history of owning wealth,
Experience of God in person,
I don’t need royal blood,
No, Not I.

@Andrew Carnegie, socially mediated, Wiltshire, January 5th 2017.
