Route 66
It's amazing how darkness and lights can have so much beauty
to be surrounded by it
to see everything in working order
A bridge connecting the two lands
the light-house over-looking the ocean
the lights lining the shore
the ferry boats surrounded by their own brightness
and the centerpiece of the glowing tower
You feel the darkness and excitement of those dark roads
feeling like you were free
I just wish someone was there to share it with me
