Rough To Smooth

From
lake’s front
cliff stands proud
harshly sculpted---
rough

Till
fine grains
tumble down
like pearled beadwork--
smooth

This is lovely Nette. Time and tide plus the weather slowly wears away the roughness. Works the same way with people. Excellent. God Bless, JB

Reads like a good contender to mw. Way to go. Water does bring even the largest rocks or cliffs down over time. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

The effects of weather on rocks will eventually smooth them, like this one nette. Good luck. Tom.

"like pearled beadwork" - that is smooth, and this poem is ultra-smooth, Nette.
