Rotten Apples In One Basket

I am a rotten apple fallen deep
Deeper than the debt within
I have stained all that is around me
Forsake even by my next of kin.

You have stained all that is around you
For you are a rotten apple sinking low
Deeper than the pit of hell lingering
Rotting slowly, very, very slow.

Deeper than the pit of hell waiting patiently
They are rotten apples and they know it
Blemishing and dishonouring their mutual lives
With venomous words that they submit.

We are rotten apples placed in one basket
Quarantined as to not infect others
As venomous words transmitted intoxicate
maiming decency built by our fathers and mothers.
