Roses Rising

A lonely face peers into distant calm The fortunate bliss of untimely perception, She is a vision upon her terrace of contemplation And in sight of her roses rising. If they could only see her Within the depths of her estranged reign Then they may cleanse her And all before her shall become beautiful again. Aces and spades of a tormented heart The imperial dream of roses rising, She is scorned by her lover's disbelief And torn by her condemnation Yet they are willing to see her Within the grasp of solace and redemption. Aptitude and plentitude of roses rising, A life's romance surely to remain She is splendour of an unknown nature Foreseeing what there is to gain. They are now able to see her, Her light casting shadow upon his mind And he is thankful for her kindness As she of her roses rising Never again to lose her find.
