Rose's Prisoner

I lay within a rose of ash
bleeding color into its cracks
watering it with my tears
no one knows that i am here
i spread its love with my screams
within a feild of paper dreams
its thorns are the pain i hold
hating none; hating all
betrayal makes a petal drop
falling hard like a rock
it breaks apart in the wind
calling out to the land
within a rose of ash i stay
keeping me prisoner every day
the paper flowers grow in white
the only light within the night
this world is black and white and gray
shades of my mind encased
hellow, im here, i swear im not gone
im dissapearing, with all the wrong
breaking down im caught in chains
within this paper rose of ash each day
