Roses in Winter
Cold snow and freezing roses,
Traits unique and set in stone,
Have fallen flakes, petals and blood,
Is the metallic taste a form of love…?
The sun in imagery flashes its rays,
Illuminating the snow and bloody arrays,
Yet it still melts; the rest wither and die,
Will one rose bleed and lie…?
