Rose In the Summer

A love had suddenly bloomed;
In the summer
It had come to soon

Made from the reddest petals;
It had its beauty
But was something typical

How time grew the thorns;
What exists
Must be ended, love forlorn

The Rose had then wilted;
Love carried by the wind
As summer had finally ended
