Rose And Counts

In neon lights and fleeting thrills, they chase desires, abandon wills.
love is a game, a fleeting spark,
hearts left broken, cold, and dark.

Young adults with minds so keen, yet lost in screens, their souls unseen. empathy drowned in selfish streams,
chasing wealth, forsaking dreams.

Elites arise with hollow grace, power-hungry, void of face. gold and fame their gods of might, truth and honor lost from sight.

Where is love that once was pure?
where is wisdom, strong and sure? a world so young, yet growing old, with hearts of ice and hands of gold
