Rose
The petals fell like my body
Like the stars we wish upon
But now only few petals remain
Still red as the lips of young girl
Whose innocence is yet to fade
What do they remind me of?
Love? Beauty?
No for me, it's different
For me it's youth
The peak of our youth
The red glistening rose, my youth
But the beauty will fade
The rose will die
And these memories will haunt me
The petals that fell
Didn't fell with wings of time
But they were torn
By some that feels the closest
To hide the beauty of such elegant nature
But it never change the view
The first impression we had
For all we know and never dared to doubt
The rose was once beautiful
