Rosary-The Finding of the Child

A child gone but not just any child.
The Son of God and of Mary, mother mild.
With her husband, Joseph, she searched for three whole days
And when they found Him they were both amazed.

A child gone, and only twelve years old
A little sheep that had slipped out of the fold.
Why the boy would wander, they just could not conceieve
And when they found him they were both relieved.

They found that He was missing. He was somehow left behind.
They searched Jerusalem but they couldn’t find a sign.
They found Him in the temple with the teachers of the Law.
They were listening to Him in wonder and in awe.

A child found, with Mary reconciled
A happy end to a mother’s frightening trial.
Finally, together, for home did they depart
And Mary pondered all this in her heart.

Love this. Once, my husband and I drove separately to church. I beeped at him, do you bave our eldest. He did not…thankfully we were close to church!!
