Roots

Upon old land, fresh new roots do take home, A sturdy base supporting flaming hands. Blazing haze to show where pure love has grown, With words to water all our loving plans. A winter spent nurturing a gold seed, Trust and honesty did sprout naturally fast. Where all else failed, heat does now fulfil need, Wafting distances to make this warmth last. Oceans try to drown the tree that is ours, With deep roots the syrup flows freely still. Fighting it stands strong, reaching to the stars, Blossoming, vibrant, it flowers our will. Our wholesome love has birthed a Maple tree, Naturally now my heart flourishes free.
