Roots

Secrets dance among wildflowers,
Roots entwined within my fears.
Each thorn reminds me of surviving,
Sunlight spills over hopes that shattered.
Identity stitched from fragments,
This garden breathes my truth.

Hi Lauren, your poem is lovely. Your SoupMail is deactivated. For your consideration, perhaps "Roots entwined withIN my fears" sounds like better meter. And, have you considered "THIS garden" instead of "the garden"?
