Room 2308
A figure stands tall, in black attire,
Is it man or woman? Beast unknown.
In the shadow realm, where secrets reside,
The figure stands, in black attire.
The eyes, a hallowed night, the smile a cynical pleasant snare,
It offers a room, beyond compare.
“I welcome you inside,” it whispers low,
“A place of peace, where worries befold.
A place of contentment, rest, a sweet release,
Enter now and find your peace.”
The room is tidy, with curtains drawn,
A silent abode, time fading by dawn.
But shadows dance with ghostly grace,
In this room, displayed like a cryptic space.
Once more, it offers room 2308,
A footstep in, but the chills intimidate.
Enter your chamber, and rest at ease,
Eyes of mine scour the depraved “ease.”
“Why room 2308?”- What awaits?
A reply of a snarled remark states.
“No pain, no sorrow, only bliss,
Just step inside, with a tender kiss.”
Beware of the hallowed dark eyes,
For this is death, in disguise.
The room offered a final stage,
Where life surrenders, your spirit is encaged.
It lures you close, with soothing words,
The melody sung chills the bone.
Through song, it knew you by name,
Room 2308 is your forever engulfed flame.
