Roofers

Surefooted men work hard on the roof. Their job: to make sure it's all leak-proof. But in the heat, they're baking and the work is back-breaking. Of their travails I'll not be aloof.

It’s a tough, tough job but the guys who did my roof last week did a great job. Glad you enjoyed. J

They sure deserve their due…not to mention carpenter bees and whatever else befalls the courageous hardworking roofer…kudos. Some years back we had a tree fall from upper backyard, land on our deck roof, its leaves could be seen through my kitchen window. Tree was balancing on the deck roof. My wonderful son in law and friend came right away and took care of it.

I wrote this poem while roofers were replacing our old roof this morning. They were very professional and thorough with their work. And our new roof looks great! It’s a tough job to be sure. Glad you enjoyed, Kim. Always nice to hear from you. Cheers from Canada.
