Rondel : the Sit In Silence .

The silence

And the antiseptic air .

The sound of pain

In that dreaded chair .

Your jaw now dead

With a tongue to choke .

"RIGHT ! , you're next Seán " .

The voice that broke

The silence .

Inspired for Brian's rondel contest .

Good use of imagery for a thought provoking poem. I like the way you use conversation towards the end. Using your name in the poem also makes it feel personal. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for your kind comment. Karen
