Rome

What’s left of us is a couple of laughs, friendly conversation, do you remembers, and a stronger like

Because we were in Rome and our love is in ruins

A few good things that didn’t last through times pressure but they were valuable lessons

I tried to reverse the curse and build Rome in one day

p.s. but we are just another beautiful but broken masterpiece…

Love in the after always seems more beautiful in its shambled state than it did when shambles were inconceivable, doesn't it? I dig this poem, it nails an often elusive concept in an imagery rich manner. I'm glad to have read it - thanks for sharing

So true, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. More coming soon, I just finished my debut book IF LOVE WERE REAL.. a collection of poems on relationships. So I will have a lot of new material to post! =]
