Romantic Soul

If I told you to sit and listen,
Would you?
If I grabbed you by the hand and pulled you close,
Would you feel my aroma like an overdose?
If I spoke softly in your ear of memories that I held near,
Would you reminisce like you were there?
If I told you my darkest woes,
Would you comfort me and hide me from my foes?
If I sang you a song,
Would you fancy me a little romance?
If I asked you under starlight to kiss me and hold me tight,
Would you never let me go?
