Romantic

Rarely have I seen a night so deep -
Open heavens beckon us to come
Make the stars our own before we sleep
As night jasmine turns the senses numb.
Never have I felt a love like this.
To live at this sweet moment in time
Is my first taste of an earthly bliss.
Catch that beam and count this night sublime.
