Romans Or Roamin'

Nero fiddled, Rome burned
Washington quibbled, Americans learned
   to buy a gun to defend their homes
   and a great big hose for fires that roam

That's exactly what's happening, Doris. More, tens of thousands more to be exact, are buying guns. What choice do inner city folks have when the police are being defunded and the mayors don't have their backs?! :) gw

Ha, ha! Watch what happens when the Dems try to take the guns away: All the Dem voters in the inner city who have just bought guns will start shooting the lawmakers they elected! :) gw

They ought to fight those fires like there's no tomorrow --- 'cos if they don't, there won't be a tomorrow! It's Hell on Earth on the West Coast now, and spreading. Scary!! :) gw
