Romance on Ice

The crisp cold air, a canvas pure and white, Beneath our blades, we glide with swift delight. A winter's tale, a frozen fairyland, Where laughter rings and love's sweet hand in hand. The ice reflects the moon, a silver sheen, And hearts beat fast, a rhythm, warm, unseen. We twirl and turn, a graceful, flowing dance, Our eyes locked tight, a love-filled, stolen glance. The frosted boughs, a silent, watchful choir, As love's sweet song takes flight, soaring higher. With each smooth stroke, our spirits intertwine, A frosty kiss, a moment, yours and mine. And though the night eventually will fade, The memory of this love, forever made.
