Rollercoaster
Let me take you for a ride,
feel alive, feel good inside.
Feel the wind rip through your hair,
life is great, we have no care.
Slowly up the ride we go
anticipation building slow.
Faster now we reach the top
but from up high we see the drop.
Don't look down now, please be wary
for everything you see is scary.
There below is such a pit,
want a thrill? Then go for it.
Feel your stomach ache and fall
watch out world hear me call.
Piercing scream! Is that my voice?
I didn't really have a choice
but to fall.
I have a choice now, I can choose,
to get back on, what's to lose?
I didn't really like that ride,
but that thrill I felt inside
made me feel alive.
But it is cheap!
