Role Reversal

I knelt down and did up her zipper -
Mum struggles with her sight you see
She kissed me gently on the top of my head
and said
‘things I did for you as a child ...
now you do for me’

12th April

The above happened yesterday - I am on massive emotional roller coaster with mum at the moment 3 amazing days and today she’s not so good and I’m struggling with the emotions

If it were not for your mum , I wouldn't have the wonderful friend I now have , So I send my love to both of you and sincere hopes for better days ahead .

Thanks for getting me through a bad time - such an emotional couple of days. If it wasn't for Jenny Brewer we would never have met - will tell you the story of how I got on here one day. Hugs Jan x

Oh, my, this is tender, loving, and so sad. The role reversal is never easy to deal with.

Tough times aren't they Tim - both of us for different reasons - doesn't usually get me down but this was so touching it broke my heart. I just try to let them both retain as much dignity as possible Hugs Jan xxx
