Role Model

In his defense Identical footprints Which were never meant to be traced Impressionable eyes Often disguised Longing to suffer a taste Following the lead Of his same seed Mimics the brother he idols Their fatal mistake Discussed at the wake Where torrential eyes were unbridled The older offspring Choked by the rings Decades before the event The shadows that passed Wearing a mask Escaped with the fortunes they'd spent In memory of my brother: Stop Smoking an original poem by the "poemdog" Daniel Turner
