Rogue Community

I want to see some justice!
I want to see it now!
If I don’t see some justice,
I’ll make my own somehow!

Life would be such a sweet thing,
if it wasn’t such a curse,
for those who must suffer it
and endure through the worst.
For everyone who hungers,
for everyone who thirsts,
for everyone who’s injured,
for everyone who’s hurt,
For everyone who’s had their face
forced down into the dirt…

There’s no such thing as justice.
There’s no handcuffs on the wrists
of the privileged of society
who do just what they wish
without the fear their actions
will ever be punished.
While honest men of conscience
must suffer underneath
the consequences of their actions
in anguished disbelief.
For the system they petition
to get themselves relief
is the same one that is causing
all their misery and grief.
The law has become a loophole
through which these criminals slip free
and mock their victims raw with impunity
from the bastions of their rogue community.

I want to see some justice!
I want to see it now!
If I don’t see some justice
I’ll make my own somehow!

Know what you mean--some folks seem to get away with everything. Making your own justice, not a good idea;) Great read, John. Thank you.

Thanks Joe...these people are ruthless and at some point you must exercise self defense against their relentless assault. They control the justice system and will never convict themselves.

You're right John. Establishing law and order does not imply the existence of justice. Writing is very good.
