Rocky Cove
Grey nimbus in sky
Ominous feel, rocky cove
Precipitation?
Walking shingled shore
Shiny stones, relentless sea
Horizon obscured.
Elements no friend
Merciless waves, tidal swell
Noisy Herring Gull.
Walk wet empty cove
Steep granite rock, seabirds' roost
Precious time alone.
