Rocky

When we first had you you were a mess,
Your coat didn't shine you were in distress.

We took you in and made you well,
We fed you up you looked real swell.

The years passed by you became our friend,
A friendship we never wanted to end.

But sadly one day you became unwell,
You could not stand up in your eye's i could tell.

That you'd had enough the time had now come,
I had to decide what had to be done.

So Rocky i did what i thought was best,
I took you to where you could finally rest.

I hope that you know that we'll never forget,
That you were a truly wonderful pet.

So good night mate Go to sleep free of pain
Til we meet somewhere else and go walks once again.

Mark, this is a moving tribute to an obviously beloved pet. I have had to make this tough decision, too. Like you, I hope we reunite with our pets in heaven. This brought tears to my eyes.
