I sat and listened to Essex sing Rock on followed by Beethovens Midnight sonata today, whilst sitting in front of the computer keyboard, this is the result. I felt very relaxed, even though it's still 43 degrees celcius and the air con has packed it in :/

A bass and a drum, and a fog filled voice, Wafted through the night, Wafted through the coloured cold mist, Creating a beautiful sight, And sat time down to take a break, Twisting each shade to a thought, Transforming each wave to a beautiful notion, A circle, a zero, a nought, And then the piano, with infinite wisdom, Began its harmonious track, And held our hand, leading us to a place, From which we would never come back, To the place of illusion, resetting our lights, With coloured lines tearing apart, Whatever our rage had grown to become, To repair the love in our heart.

What great contrasts in music and a fabulous poem. gosh David Essex looks so cute back then - maybe he looks a little like Mozart now he's older! :-) hugs jan xx

A cool relaxing evening until the aircon gave up...Nevertheless, a smooth and easy poem, observing sound and light...All the best Lewis
