Robin's Inkwell Mysteries: The Twin Betrayal

Mark always claimed his late-
night drives were just to clear
his head.
His wife believed him until
she found a second phone
inside his desk.
The screen lit up with a
emoji text message from
a name she knew well.
"Can't wait until we can finally
stop hiding our love, Charlie,"
it read.
Her husband was sleeping
with the one man she trusted
the most: her twin brother.

OH MY GOSH, Wrapping my brain around this one wowER. What a last line. Yes, I must remember to come back. It occured to me that I'd have fun playing with your lines for inserting internal rhymes. You don't need them, that's just where my thoughts went thinking about perfecting what are already great stories. (lusted,trusted/wait,sate our love/said,head - ignore me, I'm playing)
