Robert

He was on a road to nowhere headed down the wrong side of the road
For wasn't the quiet as aware as someone having known what is owed
Just in the continuing upon his way he was in turn sealing his own fate
For the day was not actually the day until the Lord God so does state

All that changed in an instant suddenly needing the Lord to be there
In such a heavy burden being sent he just felt He was being so unfair
He had always done the right thing and never really followed a crowd
But God's praises he never did sing in I guess feeling a bit too proud

But now he felt so helpless and things were no longer in his own hand
Seeing no way out of this mess becoming something he'd understand
So as he knelt down to pray all those tears in his eyes began to flow
He knew he'd lost his way now this situation would allow him to grow

That's how Robert had started, this nearly 2 years ago from today
And since then he has never again departed but followed in His Way
Of course there's peaks and valleys and there will be highs and lows
But the Lord calms all seas and at least that this Robert now knows

Psalms 20:5
WE will rejoice in thy salvation,
and in the name of our God we will set up our banners:
the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
