Roadway Moments
On a cold day
a little love-talk over coffee,
a cup to warm hands,
in a café or diner.
A truth spoken,
a kindness that listens,
those are the moments
worth a lifetime
of reflection.
We are here in Elroy County.
What better way to travel beyond yourself
than with someone
you never thought to meet,
or name?
