Roads
This road that I've been walking
Just to get to where I am
Unfolds ever so often
To remind me once again.....
There's more to life than memories
Or some momentary gain
Running from extremities
Through the weakest of my veins...
Its what we give humanity
That comes back to us ten fold
Absent of what vanity
Seems to hide inside our soul...
Till circumstance and consequence
Aquire the same name
So any chance you might repent
Leaves nothing left to blame...
And when the road has ended
We'll look back where it began
To see what we intended
So the others understand. ..
