Roads
Life is decided upon the choices you make
You can cover up bad decisions like frosting on a cake
Because then you’ll look in the mirror knowing what you did was a mistake
You can’t flip it up and down spin it left to right but it still has a chance it could break
The choice you make today will affect the road you take tomorrow
More than not it will be bumpy but life is only a great big show
We have people that attended and leave before it’s over
We call those useless and unnecessary people
We have people that watch the movie and stay for some credits and leave
We call those the users and gold digger’s
We have that handful of people that wait till the credits pass by and the screen go black
We call those true friends the ones who will always have our back
Even though the road may not always be easy and fun
We can’t just throw in the towel and say “I’m done”
As we swing and miss (a family member dies)…strike one
As we swing and miss (life isn’t worth living)…strike two
But no matter how many times we strike out we must always look at the sky as if it is blue
Because believe it our not if your with only yourself your not making it through
So don’t take the easy road just because you can
Because that road may lead u on a longer life’s plan
Easy doesn’t always mean best
It means easy for the time being
The road you take now is the one you live with
You can’t switch up like an old used car
You yourself must set the bar
Because no one going to reach up and grab your star
So the hard one may seem like a sacrifice but choosing the easy one just because its easy
That just seems bizarre
