"roads"

As a child we ran and played to the bell..
Such a shame as we get older litttle more to tell..
Bridges we crossed to make us who we are today..
Oceans we swam to wash us up to a better day...
Roads you crossed ,decisions we made tell in our
tired grins...
Passing old friends on the street its easy to see
just where they have been..
From a long walk in the park to a drive up the highway
our mind still tells the tale...
Where faith has put us today keeps the wind in our sale..
A look back on childhood we all can reflect, if we could
change these roads I still know we would connect..

Insightful statement on life and the choices we make, Michael. Sometimes when we pass "old friends," it IS easy to "see just where they have been." Wishing you a Happy Easter! Love, Carolyn
