Road to Heaven
Which way? Which way is the best? There are so many
Religion? Prayers? Meditation? Contemplation? Books?
Good deeds? Or just believe? Believe and love God?
These are good questions. I am thinking and feeling so far
So far from heaven, so far from God. Is thinking a problem?
Yes, maybe it’s that. Thinking is the food for the selfish ego
Blessed are those who are poor in spirit, saying the wisdom
For theirs will be the world of heaven, says the book of wise
Road to heaven, I lose myself and I will be humble and quiet.
