Road Rage

A fierce fury from within
Forcing you into the domain of sin
To which there is no rhyme or reason
As against God you continually commit treason

You set every other emotion aside
It's like your spiritual side has given up or died
As you lash out at any one who is in your way
Ruining not only yours, but everybody else's day

And it can not be easily dispersed
For in it, you are completely immersed
It tears down everything you ever built
And all your blessing's, they eventually wilt

He has ruined you, standing triumphantly on your chest
For you failed miserably at each and every test
Even reading this you rage from the inside
For that is how closely you and rage are tied

Next time, just hand that rage over to the Lord above
Offer a compliment instead of a push and shove
Be different and stand out from the rest
And keep saying "Lord I'm doing my best"

The Lord will not deny you His Hand
Instilling upon you the knowledge to understand
I ask only that this you would try
Who knows the next time it could be my family and I

Hi Vincent. Nicely done, my friend. Wonderfully descriptive and imagistic. A good read--and a good theme. Drop by anytime, Peace and blessings, Mel :)

All those with cars need to read this and stop the RAGE. Too many people get so upset by little things. Love the last sentence . It really hits the point home.
