Road Less Traveled

Road Less Traveled

Tongue-tied relentless brain
Take a step back, realize your game
Overcome the noise - quiet the rain
Release grips on rising blame

Quick reactions stumble and fall
Emotionally bruised and raw
Crowded, pushed up to the wall
Shy, outspoken words of flaw

Personal boundaries cut from clay
Silent crowds still to tame
Reactive moments every day
Shifting focus away from shame

Speak from the temple within
Respect earned, not given
Straightened spine and a lifted chin
Spin a new web while remaining driven
