River - the Source of Life

Streams of water
That sang beautiful song
The rocks that glittered
Under the sunshine above
The pretty music
The jingling sound of flowing water
The river that crossed bushes across
And made its path to plains
The god above
Watched it all
Nourishing the dried grasses
The lifeless weeds that remained
The drops of water
The river that offered
A new life they got
The plants that thanked the water
It passed the cracks
The rocks and harsh surfaces
Some tried to stop it
Some were its barriers
Never did it stop
The nature's call it obeyed
Kept flowing till the end
The source of life it is...
