River of Tears 1

Flow silent water
Past my heart of weeping desires
Carrying the hopes and dreams 
Of a lifetime.

Flow silent water
Not even a pebble breaks the surface
I mindlessly drag my hand 
Through the coldness of reality

Flow silent water
Take my soul with you
My life you have already
In your river of tears
